I have always enjoyed writing, and I used to keep a journal, but now that I have been married for 10 years, and have two kids, I don't have the time to sit down and write. I have come to realize, I have not been getting the outlet I need, so I began sending a random thought to my friends and family each morning. I have discovered new things about myself, my friends, my family, and about life!

Helping Me Hang On

Through it all. That’s the ticket. Through the victories and the failures…Through the brilliant days of accomplishment and the broken days…Through the heady days of laughter and success and those nameless intervals of setback and blank despair. Through it all, God is with us, leading us, teaching us, humbling us, preparing us. –Charles Swindoll

He is my refuge, my fortress: my God; in Him I will trust. –Psalm 91:2

Push, struggle, fight, peel away the layers of disappointment, resentment, and blame. Push thru the hurt, the hate, and the rain, force yourself into the light. Into the new, release the old, start fresh, begin again. And do it each day, do it because you can, because God is leading us through it all. Thru the good moments, joyful days, and happiest times. When we’re hanging on by our fingernails, and the temptation to throw in the towel is so overwhelming we are choking on it, He’ll be there, ready to hang with us, and catch us if we fall, and rise us up.

Thank God, I can start again tomorrow, when I have messed up today, I can start anew, with forgiveness, and more strength, patience, and wisdom than the day before.

Thank God.
